UNITAR's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Programme provide delegates and local officials in developing countries with a comprehensive set of skills-based and policy-focused learning opportunities in the area of ICT.  The Programme is intended to provide both sets of actors with the tools and information necessary to formulate strategies and directions in conjunction with the results of the first and second phases of the World Summit on Information Society.  The Programme is currently broken down into two components to be implemented with the support of the Intel Corporation:
