Continued IT Education Project (CITE)

About CITE

--> Registration is now open. Enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis.

The Continued IT Education (CITE) Project offers self-paced, on-line computer skills courses to United Nations delegates in New York.   The CITE Project replaces the instructor-led computer courses offered previously by UNITAR with customized e-learning curriculum.  Courses are available for beginner to advanced level computer users.

The CITE Project has been developed specifically to meet the varied needs of the diplomatic community in New York.  Participants are able to take advantage of the flexibility of accessing their courses on their own time and adhering to their own schedules.

Weekly assisted lab sessions are also available in order to provide personalized support and supplemental instruction to participants.  Lab sessions are not required, but provide participants with the opportunity to interact with trained UNITAR staff.

The CITE Project is currently only available to delegates serving in the United Nations Headquarters in New York.  Efforts to expand the programme regionally are being explored.
